Classic, Italian craftsmanship meets elegant design. The Gucci brand was founded in 1921, by Guccio Gucci, in Florence, a beautiful city sat within the green, rolling hills of Tuscany. Despite lapses in material availability during the war, and family tensions in later years, the brand has continually soared and today they create eclectic, highly sought after collections of clothing, accessories and even highly distinctive home decor. From the iconic Bamboo bags, developed when leather was still scarce after the war, to the Gucci Soho Disco bag.
