Gucci
Born in Florence in 1881, Guccio Gucci began his journey working as an elevator operator at prestigious hotels in Paris and London during his teenage years. It was during this time that he developed a deep appreciation for the exquisite leather goods carried by the hotel guests, sparking his passion for craftsmanship. Returning to Florence, his hometown, in 1921, Gucci established his own shop, initially selling saddlery before expanding into high-end leather handbags, shoes (including the iconic loafers), knitwear, and silks adorned with the signature Gucci pattern and style.
